people are having alot of problems with eco products ...

washing machines that take 3 hours,

dim light bulbs that explode

i had a starter motor that was eco and it wouldn't work

i got a non eco one from Bunces that does ...

eco boilers i am always hearing about problems with those too

new mechanisms that are really complex

yeah i will never forget Freddie Mercury ...
one of the sound tracks to my life
and stuff i listened to intensely
hanging on the words ...
the show must go on , is one of my favourites
and crazy little thing called love.

i have also spent alot of time in woods and forests ....
my dad used to take us to Scotland
and as an adult, i have been on loads of camping holidays
around south England , green camps and stuff
not so much the music festivals
that is a bit rough for me
but more kind of tree hugging fests !

hi Ben Happy Birthday ! I decided not to watch the horror sound tracks one
as it might freak me out too much !
so i ended up listening to this instead, which i enjoyed ...
firstly David Bowie, i feel as if he were a personal friend
and i have heard some of his last album, its so cool that he expressed his feeling about death ...

the other albums many of them i don't know
like a tourist in my own city !
what strikes me is the analogue experience of the pre digital age
i don't know if you watch The Big Bang Theory
i just saw the latest episode
in which they go to a cabin in the woods to be 'off grid' !
it was brilliant to see them doing party games in the woods
just like old times !

and the whole vinyl experience,
with tactile covers and sleeves
makes me think also about my board games
i have a couple of vintage games from the 1970s
with parts largely intact, i tested them recently and they still work !
my 6 year old nephew gets really excited about it
and its such a great way to spend time together.
I wont say what they are , as i might want to make a video about them sometime !

as for Queen i have seen them live, some time around 1980
so larger than life ...
i have also seen Adam Ant and the Stones live, and the Waterboys

the painting it stunning by the way ...

there was another one
that just walked in the back door one day
and started being affectionate.
im afraid to say that i started feeding him
i wouldn't do that now ... its someone else's cat !

I loved Tusk when i was young. and found it an exciting track.
the whole album is very etherial and folky
i just sped through it, as i have not heard it before.

nothing compared to Rumors for me though
one of my all time favourite albums that
with alot of memories, of playing it in squats and council flats in London

hey maybe i should play my violin to Fleetwood Mac sometime !

hi Ben thanks i enjoyed this
although i havent heard of most of them.
I do know and like The Darkness, Pink, and Adele,
i got my auntie an Adele album at Christmas, as she has a broken heart
and Adeles music is well known for dealing with that !

what stands out for me with recent music
is things like James Morrison , Cradle of Filth, Ville Valo, and the Kooks,
and oh yes Jack White .

Like you there is alot more than that to my collection and taste
that i can't think of it all at once.

I also love Radio 6, which is just chocca with rare and alternative gems
so much so that i don't usually listen to it,
because i would need to be constantly making notes !
there is an incredible volume of great new music out there ...
