I've got some breaking media news for you.
ITV postpones rest of current Downton Abbey series
ITV has postponed the remaining episodes in the third series of Downton Abbey because it has deemed it "inappropriate to broadcast them in the light of recent events".
In the next episode of the programme the abbey stages a Gramophone and Orchestra Dancing Extravaganza organised by Sir John Sorvell who is famous for organising such events and for his pioneering use of two gramophones. However, some children and young women go missing during the event and after the event they are found in a distressed state.
When they tell people what happened to them their parents approach the Earl of Grantham, tell him what happened and encourage him to confront Sir John. The Earl does so but Sir John denies all the allegations and then tells the Earl that he knows members of the Irish Citizen Army and he will arrange for them to visit Downton. The Earl asks him not to do so but Sir John only agrees not to if he is allowed to stage events at Downton every month and the Earl invited children from the local workhouse to attend.
ITV has apologised for the postponement of the episodes and has promised to broadcast them at a later date.
