  As a teenager,I was struck by Orwell's determination that we should ignore no abuse,whether it was carried out by friend (in the 30s,for most of the Left,Stalin),or the Right.
  I think that that idea has gotten lost,for the most part by this paper's contributors.

  I'm sorry about that.I should have put a question mark after "White people".

  I could well be out of my depth here,but I remember at university there were some people who had higher consciousness,and others with lower.

  While I can understand that people can be unaware of the psychological basis of phobias,etc.,I do get worried about the 'thought crime' nature of political opinions/beliefs which people can have without themselves (or other people?) knowing that they have them.
