I'm nowhere near "almost"!
He's just so useless, it's embarrassing.
We get the tough talk at home before he goes - "I'll argue for a cut".
Then when he gets there we get - "well, a freeze would be fair and I'll do what's best for Britain" along with a tight-lipped determined expression and striding about manfully.
Then we get - "I have done the best deal/exercised the (non-existent) veto; or "we have agreed a fair rise for the British people"; more marching about and looking busy.
He is transparent, and really rather silly. He's laughed at.
I don't feel a smidgeon of sympathy - but I do feel sheer embarrassment whenever I watch him in action.
