Even careful writers begin to sound like porn soundtracks when they turn to sex writing
only if thats how you experience it which will come across in your writing – - -
another peril of vicarious life – - -

It was designed as a marital aid
links please – - – that is rubbish it was designed as an escape from it – - -
I started ruminating about sex writing while thinking about the annual Bad Sex awards – won this year by the novelist Nancy Huston for Infrared
this link doesnt open. The article is very cynical and sarcastic from an obviously frustrated and damaged author – - – get some help – - – dissing other peoples fun will only wizen your pomegranate – - -
Everyone seems agreed that writing about sex is perilous
do they ? Im no I don’t actually although you never asked me – - – its dangerous not to write about sex or to write only about other peoples – - – not writing about sex is like not eating if you want to be a dry old stick – - – then stick to sticking your nose up other peoples arses – - – I get more inspiration from the night sky – - – those planets have seen some of the best zero sum moments something I wouldn’t get from looking up yours – - -

Mr Swinney said it was clear that after becoming independent the country would be negotiating “from within” The minister believed that any talks on agreeing new terms of membership would be completed by 2016. But Scottish Secretary Michael Moore believed an independent Scotland would lack clout over EU membership negotiations
“How will they negotiate an opt-out from the Euro? Labour peer Lord George Foulkes told the newspaper: “The EU’s position is that a nation becoming an independent state would have to re-apply for EU membership. “Serious questions now need to be asked as to where these claims came from and what role members of the House of Lords Committee and the UK political parties played in this fabricated story
“This incident shows that these Westminster committees and their inquiries are simply anti-independence propaganda tools, and are not seriously considering the opportunities of independence “The Scottish government will be writing to the European Commission making clear our serious concerns about this incident.”

ok so apparently Scotland says that the British have fabricated
the idea that it would have to re-apply for EU membership – - -
the answer comes from Brussels yes they would – - – a bit of a
momentous thing to fabricate – - – why did the Scottish
make fabrications about the British intelligence – - -
perhaps as the cartoon indicates there is some apathy about
leaving Britain and joining the EU with a willingness to blame
Britain for the grief of breaking away really giving us a tight hug
- – - he looks like he’s lost all sense of himself in the uniformity
of the union. Out of a fire came a frying pan and a scotch pancake

No witness or anybody else at the Leveson Inquiry advocated state control of the press.
Lord Justice Leveson?s terms of reference require him to make recommendations that support press freedom

Leveson has announced his recommendations. The victims of press abuses want them implemented. Let the Government know that you support the victims. Sign the petition now
Your petition is a trip up the garden’s zig zag path – - -

“Cameron has played his hand remarkably well..” Do you think so? He now looks even more deeply embedded with Murdoch, with Coulson and Brooks’ cases yet to reach court and to the public he is on the side of a press that has been abusing vulnerable victims of crime etc. He, Osborne and Alexander might be gloating on the front bench as ordinary families cop tax rises and benefits cuts, but they may not be cackling for long.

“The press – but not politicians or the police – have been very naughty boys. Your ‘independent regulation’ plan is useless – adopt mine. I can help you cut your libel bills via an arbitration arm but we need a law to make this happen.”
ok i have read enough about Leveson to know that it is an enquiry into the very criminal daily activities of the press. No doubt people in other professions engage in criminal practices e.g. masseurs spies, private detectives and the like leveson is not about politicians or the police that is a separate enquiry – - -
Leveson’s model of an “independent self-regulator”
that is a contradiction you have either an independent regulator or a self regulating press – - – you like to knot different things together in the hope that the truth cannot be extricated – - -
The editors were in charge, and they could live with Leveson’s model as long as it didn’t involve statutory regulation
in charge in charge – - – wearing the trousers is one thing but in charge of what exactly the content of the papers the regulation of the content of the papers or the regulation of the regulators – - -
Cabinet Office minister Oliver Letwin suggested that the Leveson idea of an arbitration service to cut the press’s libel case costs could be achieved by something called “civil procedures”
hmmm like going to the CAB Im sure Murdoch and Brooks would be happy to lay trustingly in its hands – - -
to sort out what the regulator will actually do
arm like apply existing law to privacy violations – - – of the press – - – not of Facebook – - -
    a simple institutional solution
no it chose the non institutional path of treating each case on its own merit – - -
its difficulty to make statutes that cover the difference between say the Dowlers
case and McCans – - – or those who might have been wrongly implicated in the
Jimmy Saville story even – - – the way in which the Dowlers privacy was violated
is a case in point – - – its obvious they have been wronged there are laws
pertaining to that someone just needs to ram it down Rebeccas throat – - -
