there were others on the plate just 
one of that colour 

funny cus i was a leader 
in games and stuff and totally mute in the face of conflict

so i put it to my gay friend  
the other little girl at nursery who 
claimed that she was going to take the jam 
tart and asked him if there 
was a better way to respond

how about sharing it he suggested
and then i thought i could propose that 
it wasn't her property as it was on a plate to share 

or could i take it and 
claim it was technically mine once it 
was on my plate 

an then i would have snatched it which wouldn't be very nice 
or we might get into a jam tart nursery fight
