we used to have women at home looking after everyone. 

Someone has to not work in order for someone else to work

if everyone worked we'd all go berserk

you have to learn to value yourself as you are ...

yes its quite difficult to judge a situation 

after a few drinks 

you sound quite familiar with the scenario ! 

depends on the situation .... 

if someone is very out of their head 

you might not be able to use assertive techniques 

then again i was followed once and i felt i had to use chat and banter 

until the bus arrived 

sometimes i become more assertive 

while a group is running 

only to then lose it when the group finishes
