Jay Griffiths seems to have opened up a rich vein ... 

Tagore, Oscar Wilde, Hermann Hesse, Mark Twain, 

Huckleberry Fin, Rousseau, Dylan Thomas, CS Lewis, 

all interlinked in her book 'Kith'

some of her arguments are self defeating

like the idea that we should all be living like aborigines 

and yet its all very seductive. 

And i have never read any of these authors

she is giving me a taste of a vast area of unexplored literature ! 

and there was me worried what i would do 

when i had finished the entire works of Paolo Coelho !
