a chain lurking in the background during its more strepent
guitar-drenched moments
Yet, it never sounds abortively retro: somehow, it all fits …
psychedelic rock and electronic rock

influenced by dub and industrial, their sound is constantly changing
between live rock sounds and minimal techno
those who can do
i'd want my own stuff to sound like a large swathe of theirs

the release of trans-love energies had me anticipating with dread
his most stirring work to date
various guests added warmth to their productions—from fragile
or domineering female vocalists to strongly
individualistic rock & roll daddies

their voices may sound juvenile and green, but perfectly fit their intimate surroundings
from the get-go, the album's confessional tone is set by its soft fade-in recalling
their most heart-breaking and distressed while the she left me anthemic lyric
is made more poignant by some delicate banjo plucking
In contrast scissors could just as easily have been titled teenage lust
while black hole evokes an immersive shoe gaze
