The hallebard consists of an axe blade topped with a spike
mounted on a long shaft. It always has a hook
or thorn on the back side of the axe
blade for grappling mounted combatants

its point was also able to push back approaching horsemen
as was the hook opposite the axe head,
which could be used to pull horsemen to the ground.
halberds were reinforced with metal rims over the shaft

the blame ... holding off the wolf with a cutting wire

when you don't know what you're doing
at the mercy of pretty hearts
I reach up my hands
please please help me to run

at the end of the day you're on your own on the cold cold floor

sound of the iron door

clang

just give me something real for bread
I don't mind if you sauce it up

just gimme something real

agonised primeval howl followed by
running gasping for breath
