question earlier about democracy 

its sometimes possible to ignore a democratic 

decision if it isn't legally binding and a statute is not 

really the same thing as an established law ... 

of course in doing so you might risk 

going against the grain of a 

bandwagon 




eg suppose my rehab group decided that we are to 

wear uniforms to rehab ... not entirely 

impossible ... it might be possible 

to claim that its not in the 

traditions and i therefore don't have to do it
