Labour's Transport representative is quite right in that the coalesced idiots are not getting anything right at all and the House of Commons should have a chance to seriously examine this new mad scramble.

Beheading is a relatively simple piece of butchery, swiftly achieved, and guaranteed to horrify. Unlike hanging, electrocution, lethal injection and shooting, the victim is visibly de-humanised. No chance of the viewer of getting a "peace in death" message here.
It's worth bearing in mind before judging the Taliban uniquely barbaric on this score, though, that beheading was a favoured form of execution in Europe for centuries and even practised on an industrial scale in relatively recent times.
