Disappointing. Someone called Nazo on the tech blogs posted a Firefox script that flattens nested comments and puts them back in the right order. Unfortunately, as nesting is killing quoting and the script doesn't recreate the "Response to.." link, one ends up with a lot of posts that don't make a whole lot of sense because there's no context.
