    Nope, you are not convincing at all that peak oil revenues were in the late 90s they peaked in the 80s. There is still a lot of oil left but we will never see that peak again. It was pure wasted.
    Do you anything at all to back that up? Every source I've seen said it was in the late 90s, this is just the most well known source. .

    The price of oil from about 1983 to the early 2000s was fairly stable

    by then margaret hilda had sold almost all our govnt shares in it
    Oil companies pay the state whether they are owned by the state or not.
