David Cameron will embark on a low-key arms trip to the Gulf on Monday in an attempt to persuade regional powers upset by Britain's response to the Arab spring to buy more than 100 Eurofighter Typhoon fighter jets. The deals could be worth more than £6bn to Britain.

These weapons are intended for use against the civilian population ...and Dave knows it . Any war between these countries and neighbors would be through a Massive conflagration ....and end up with superpowers intervening.selling popguns and small jets wouldn't help in that event
These weapons are sold on a 'kill now, pay later' basis.
The profit is pre-calculated and bonuses and sharesprices adjusted to suit.
The wonderful thing about this sort of deal is that should the puppet despot be so greedy they need to spend all thier countries money on apartments in London, New York etc and/or place in in various accounts elsewhere then the arms companies, dealers and other 'interested parties' have thier cut guaranteed by HM Governement.
Guess who pays when they renege on the deal?
Yup, the public - no one else, but it doesn't stop the arms companies citing non-payment for getting rid of workers or subbing out work elsewhere.
