I work with a lot of people who are not (for a variety of reasons) able to carry out their jobs to a reasonable standard. It is also practically impossible to get rid of them. We're stuck. Paying huge amounts of money for people to not do their work is difficult financially and very demotivating for other employees who continue to work well but also have to take on the extra that their colleagues are not managing...
