Well it's hard to argue with your comment as it as been deleted & I am relying on memory. I have never made a secret of my support for Kurds so I am not sure what your comment is supposed to mean.

With the best will in the world, and seeing the suffering that various African states has had to endure for decades, I fail to see how Europe's capacity to dictate economically trumps the loss of life and strangled local development SAPs have engendered.
Used to be one of my big hobby-horses. Haven't looked at it much in recent years, but pretty disgusted to see that Swaziland is coming in for the same treatment so many others have been forced into.

It could be worse in Swaziland at least one of the largest growing food stuffs isn't dead people and poop.
