Burt Bacharach wrote the tunes & Hal David wrote the lyrics in their collaborations, & between them they came up with some of the most brilliant & enduring popular songs that currently exist. I could not possibly list them all as there are too many.
I have always been a fan, & am sad that Hal David has died but he was about 90 so it is unsurprising. His work will live on.
I think my favourite remains I say a little prayer as sung by Aretha, but God there are so many & it was fortunate that there were always artists who were good enough to sing the great songs that they came up with.

To be honest I don't think bans works on trolls like this. It just makes it harder to keep tabs on them.
An email to the other poster from the moderators informing them that the police have been notified of their stalking and bullying behaviour would not go amiss and would be helpful.
OK, evidence first.
This is about a troll with a very political agenda. A troll possibly using chatbot software. A troll possibly using software to repeat his message. A troll possibly gaming the recommend counts on CiF with a script.
Superficially it might look like his product only hurts lefties and environmentalists, by casting us as Nazis.
But actually he hurts people on both sides of the debate. He undermines trust on both sides. He harms the credibility of the decent people on his side of the debate.
I asked to be banned to lose him, to shake him, so he's temporarily gagged me. But I'm not important. What is important is more like him would gag all of us, as their artificially amplified material swamps real people.
There are at least two of him at the BBC and at least 5 of him at the Guardian.

The Guardian never responded to my email either, apart from a very swift ban (which I had requested) and some automatic replies. I think they're swamped, and it takes time to properly look at this case.
