Brown's smirking arrogance and defiance when faced with the consequences of his violence make him easy to cast as the perfect devil. He shows no signs of committing to changed behavior, long-term education or counseling. He has offered the barest lip service to contrition and backed his unconvincing penitence with nothing material save what was court-ordered
you know this is so extreme and angry its obvious someone just doesnt like him or has ulterior motives not to ? where in that is there a chance for him ? ok for military men with the latest technology to beat you up who's going to challenge that ?
But the public anger at Brown simply doesn't square with the way mistreatment of women is ignored and justified when it isn't committed by a celebrity who is easy to hate and its victim is not a pretty, young star
eh? what is this crochet when you've spent all night unpicking it ?
This is not to compare internet trolling to physical battery, but to say that no cookies need be given for recognizing and objecting to Brown's violence and gross antics
your not comparing internet with concrete I think you are ? did nobody ever teach you to be careful writing when yog are angry ?
But Rihanna has come under increased scrutiny in the years following the incident, for her dress, her partying, her sexuality and for not being as incensed at Chris Brown as we are
yeah you crocheted together some different things there ? I would say that Im fine with rhianna being half naked ? where she comes under criticism is for taking him back after publically vilifying his violence ? something you only do if you are trapped in a violent marriage
Rihanna's message is not one we want young girls, or boys, to hear. A shocking number of teens have reacted to this public case of abuse by blaming the victim.
groan ? you don't blame the victim for causing the violence they have a responsibility about whether or not they stay ? except in cases where they don't have that choice ?
If we're going to support a victim of domestic violence, she had best be a "perfect" one
well if i told you how to do that you woudnlt believe me
Rage against a pompous, violent fool is easy; compassion for imperfect victims is much harder
and you know that is archaic so all the people in prisons are just bad asses that got their rocks off ? pull the other one mate ?
the breast-beating over the ongoing tragedy that is Chris Brown and Rihanna's relationship is just so much impotent sound and fury
well yes the breast beating is a bit futile agree with you there ? and to sum up in cases like this you separate his responsibility from hers doh ... she is no little angel she has a responsibility for her life ... doesnt mean she is responsible for the tattoo ... or what it stands for ... I mean come on we used to do that stuff in art therapy ... doing a painting of violence doesnt necessarily mean you support it ... and repressing that kind of expression can be dangerous in itself ... or somewhat jumping the gun ... very judgmental article ... like he has no conscience load of rubbish ....
you know and like I was saying its ok for military people to control their partners ex partners and potential partners potential partners with anti terror equipment .... if you think about it this does happen ... and just not let you get away with the odd little misdemeanour I mean a woman or man in that position would even have their internet actives stamped out let alone getting the odd indiscretion in between hampstead and guildford ...
