Seumas bangs on about the USA's so-called "Empire".I expect he would if he had a reason to. But since it's dead and buried and almost nobody wants it back, what would be the point?

An empire whose demise he mourns as though it were a death in his family: Communism may be dead, but clearly not dead enoughHe says it wasn't as bad as the Nazis and did have some good (mitigating not redeeming) features. I don't know what your family are like, but I'd be surprised if there were anyone in it as bad as that!
