I'm honestly not sure how you could put a disabled character in a show with working their disability into the plot in some way, however minor. Otherwise it would just be a massive elephant in the room and end up being detrimental to the show.
Some people have brought up characters like Walt Jr, but even though the plot doesn’t revolve around his condition it still serves a purpose. Having a disabled son is one of the major causes behinds Walts decision to descend into criminality. Even professor X’s paralysis gets brought up every now and again.
Please investigate my favorite conspiracy theory. There’s no evidence to support it, but I read something about it on a cranks blog once or heard about it from someone who knows someone who heard it from someone else ad infinitum. The mainstream media has said nothing but that only because they must be in on it. Their constant refusal to pay me any attention is proof of this.
