   Evening all

   Yesterday was a glorious sunny day. And a day off. So what did we do?

   Ikea. Like everyone else in BCN so it seemed. Did the Ikea shuffle (walk round at the pace of the slowest granny). Hell.

   Today was an overcast grey day.

   Spent most of it making the watch’s desk. Opened the box and realised we’d not bought the simple straightforward little desk we planned to, but the deluxe drawers and cupboard version. We measured up and decided to keep it. Then had to make it. Amazingly we survived. The only blood shed was when the screwdriver slipped and gouged my finger. The watch was brilliant at finding the right screws and generally following the instructions. We are all rather proud of the sturdy (at least for now) piece of furniture we put together.
