I have no problem if our political leaders wish to congratulate successful British (or UK?!) sportsmen and women, but seeing Cameron's smug face appear whenever we have a successful athelete or group of makes me sick.
That said, if government money has been used and spent on, oh I don't know, cycling perhaps? then I think I could forgive an occasional recognition of a successful spend.
Now, I could forgive it even more if we ever had the opportunity to recognise other successful uses of taxpayer money. Anything..... please....
